The Met Apartments
The Brief:
The key objectives were to create a name, brand and eye catching marketing campaign for a refurbished Art deco warehouse that was to feature a contemporary residential development of 70 apartments.
The Idea:
We wanted to create a brand and campaign synonymous with the real heritage of the 1930’s, both visually and emotionally. An era of the avant-garde, we wanted to reflect this glamorous and exuberant decade. Having conducted considerable research into the Art deco period and 1930’s style, we identified a typography, colour scheme and imagery that would convey this individualism.
The Concept:
The final result is The ‘Met’ Apartments, initially being inspired by the Metropolitan (underground) signage in Paris, and a campaign that combines classic 1930’s style with a contemporary feel, using the iconic photography of past and present.
The Results:
Our campaign generated immediate interest and captured the imagination of investors and private tenants alike, with a total of 65 out of the 70 apartments sold to date.
The Background:
Situated in the Northern Quarter in the heart of Manchester, the scheme needed a unique and distinctive campaign that would differentiate it from the multitude of modern / tower developments or warehouse conversions. The campaign was to be translated across a wide range of media including, brochure, website, press advertisements, and outdoor media.
